National trade body the Association of Noise Consultants (ANC) has introduced a new category to its acclaimed awards programme for 2019, focusing on the valuable role of workplace acoustics.
Recognising how acoustic design has resulted in a positive impact within workplace conditions and environments, the accolade is one of nine categories in the ANC awards this year.
A greater emphasis on airborne sound outdoors is also included, with new categories for both environmental infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects introduced.
Judges comprising of a panel of academics, professionals, and representatives from sponsor companies will study the entries.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony following the ANC National Conference at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Manchester City Centre, on June 6.
