This coincides with a global move from green sustainable building to more emphasis on driving healthier building which improve our health and wellbeing as well as that of the environment.
Organised an hosted by healthy buildings advocate John O’Brien and his team at building performance specialists LCMB, the webinar will bring together leading sector experts and practitioners to ask: what is a healthy building, how you can make existing buildings healthier and what do you need to know abut this global trend. It will be of relevance to those that are managing people, workplaces, real estate and sustainability etc. within businesses.
The discussion looks set to be a ‘must’ for all Facilities Managers, Operations Managers, HR professionals or employers who are managing workplaces and estates over the coming year.

LCMB’s guests include Asif Din, Sustainability lead at Perkins & Will, a global architecture practice, Joanna Watchman, Founder of Work In Mind and Prof Tim Vorley, Vice-Chancellor and Dean of Oxford Brookes Business School. John O’Brien will take the role of Chair.
Asif has raised the profile of carbon proficiency in the practice which includes a costed Zero Carbon Report at the end of concept design for all projects. He has also been involved in expanding the sustainability remit within designs as part of the ‘Living Design’ initiative. Asif is an Architect with over 20 years’ experience in delivering Zero Carbon design projects. Notably BedZED and Jubilee Wharf in Penryn, Cornwall. He has worked in the UK and abroad in China and the Middle East.
Joanna, Founder of Work In Mind, launched in 2018. Work in Mind is the world’s only content resource dedicated to driving awareness of how to create, better, healthier buildings that support physical and mental health. Today 2.5 years later, Joanna and her team have educated, inspired and informed nearly 200,000 people from across the supply chain in 193 countries.
Professor Tim Vorley is Pro-Vice Chancellor and Dean of Oxford Brookes Business School and is the VCG lead for Entrepreneurship and Enterprise. Before his current role, Tim was Deputy Dean and Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Sheffield, as well as having held various roles across the University, Faculty of Social Science and Management School. Prior to working at Sheffield, Tim held positions at the University of Cambridge and the Saïd Business School (University of Oxford). As an active researcher, Tim currently leads the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC)/Innovate UK-funded Innovation Caucus and is Co-Director of the ESRC-funded Productivity Insights Network, as well as partnering on several projects under the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund.
